The brightest stars in music stepped out in style at the 2018 Grammy Awards last night. Music’s biggest night was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It was the first time in over 15 years that the ceremony was not held in California. A prominent aspect of this year’s awards season has been the Time’s Up or #MeToo movement. Stars have been using their red carpet style to make a statement about sexual harassment and sexual abuse. At last night’s ceremony, the stars adorned their outfits with white roses to stand in solidarity with victims of sexual abuse. The red carpet was full of breathtaking fashion, with some major hits and a few total misses. Check out the best and worst looks from the 2018 Grammy Awards:
The Best of the Best
This isn’t the first time Hailee Steinfeld has been our Best Dressed, and it likely won’t be the last. This look was absolutely stunning. The white Alexandre Vauthier dress is gorgeous on its own, but paired with the metallic purple boots, it’s our favorite look of the night.
Not everyone can pull off a fitted suit, but Eve is perfection in this silver and black Naeem Khan suit. The Chopard jewelry completes the look.
Andra Day gave us an incredible pop of color! This lilac and red ensemble by Victoria Hayes is sharp and sexy. We love the bright red lip and choker necklace Andra paired it with!
Rita Ora gave us some classic Hollywood feels with this look! The gorgeous black couture gown is by Ralph& Russo, while the shoes are Christian Louboutin.
It looks like Miley Cyrus has fully abandoned her days of thongs and pasties. She looked absolutely stunning in this all black pantsuit by Jean Paul Gaultier.
The Worst of the Worst
We loved the resurgence of color on the red carpet, but Ava Max’s colorful pantsuit is just too much. This pattern belongs on a sofa from the 70’s, not on the red carpet.
Cyndi Lauper also rocked the printed pantsuit look at the 2018 Grammy Awards. Rather than a bright pattern, she opted for classical art. We feel like the art belongs in a museum, not on the red carpet. We still love you, Cyndi!
Heidi Klum is one of the most beautiful women in the world. With that said, this Ashi Studio dress is far from beautiful. It looks like lingerie… gothic lingerie.
Janelle Monae nails it every single time…except this time. She’s known for wearing pantsuits on the red carpet, which we typically love, but this Dolce & Gabbana suit just has too much going on with the floral pattern.
We adore her and she makes us double over with laughter, but Sarah Silverman is our Worst Dressed of the night. This short dress, paired with the boots and fishnet leggings is just too messy for the Grammys!
