Sneak-peek: Biba at House of Fraser’s SS11 collection

Following the success of last year’s collection, Biba and House of Fraser have once more collaborated to create a second iconic collection this Spring.

Modelled by Daisy Lowe, their oh-so-pretty designs follow six distinct fashion directions; the 40s influenced glamour of Sacre Coeur; the Bohemian 70s-inspired Moody Blues; the faded, romantic quality of Monet; the desert-fox-does-safari stylings of Arabian Nights; the high summer heat of Silk Trail; and the brash and sexy glamour of Hyper Real.

We are loving the pretty-pretty vibe of these pieces, the embroidery and florals and 70s styling…

But what do you think? Is this retro brand still top of the style stakes? Or has Biba had its day?

Biba’s SS11 collection is available from House of Fraser.

I really like that printed floral dress, but personally, I’m not likely to wear any of the pieces myself simply because I don’t have the body for that kind of thin.

I like the clothes but the model looks kinda stoned.

Very nice indeed. It would be even better if the photographers let the model smile.
