Dress of the Day: Roland Mouret’s ‘Pigalle’ dress

Roland_mouret_pigalle_dress It’s being described as this season’s “It” dress (Roland Mouret likes to bring out one every season, it would seem – and more power to him), so we felt it was only right to make Roland Mouret’s Pigalle dress our Dress of the Day today.

We’re showing you it in taupe, purely because you can’t see much detail in the pictures of the black or white versions, but suffice to say this is a great example of Mouret’s characteristic, tailored style, with a bit of old-time glamour thrown into the mix.

It’s already been sighted on many a celebrity back, and we think it’s safe to say it looks better on than it does in this image.

If you’d like to see it on your back, you’re going to have to cough up £990 to Net-a-Porter.
