Mistaken Identity: Chiffon one-shoulder dresses by Kate Moss for Topshop and Dorothy Perkins

Remember the yellow, one-shoulder chiffon dress that was part of the very first Kate Moss for Topshop collection, and then released in green for the second? Well, either we’re seeing things, or it’s just popped up again at Dorothy Perkins, only with a colour change and a few slight modifications.

Of course, Dorothy Perkins and Topshop are both part of the Arcadia group, so it’s not altogether unheard of for certain designs to crossover from one chain to the other, but we can’t help wondering what Kate Moss will say when she sees "her" design in Dotty P’s.

Although we love the colour of the green Topshop dress, and haven’t seen the Dorothy Perkins version in the flesh, we actually think the Dotty’s version has a nicer waistline and a more expensive look – at least in this picture. And we can’t remember what the Kate Moss dress cost originally (can you?), but Dorothy Perkins’ indigo one shoulder dress is yours for £40.
