Comment on Do larger mannequins make you feel better about your figure? by violet.
for me, yes. Larger mannequins make me look twice and think about whether that is closer to my body shape and size than the usual size mannequin. That said, the latter does make clothes look more attractive (in my opinion). But at least I’d get a more realistic idea of how clothes would look on me if they were about a UK 12.

Top Ten: Pencil Skirts
I have a pencil skirt, but on the hanger it looks surprisingly square. I guess it’s because of my pathetically short yet chunky legs?
Handbag of the Week: ASOS Leather Slot Through Satchel
My problem with nude coloured clothing or bags is that surely they would, from a distance, make you look like you have blobs of skin flapping about where it shouldn’t.

Air New Zealand staff think their new uniform makes them look like “drag queens”
I have seen pictures of the rest of the collection – there are blouses, skirts, jackets and trousers (and that’s just for the women). I actually don’t mind the print in green, but do agree with other about the yuckiness of the pink dress. What really annoys me though, is that Trelise Cooper made up the prototypes in silk, but the uniform company is expected to produce these styles in polyester. Polyester!
Dress of the Day: Cream/black dress from Dorothy Perkins
I love diagonal stripes.
Save or Splurge: Stripe short-sleeved shirts by Vivienne Westwood and Next
I think the Next one looks way more designer-y. but if the Westwood shirt fit me perfectly and was self-laundering, then I would go with that one!
