Make your own Hermès Kelly bag – out of paper

Free Hermès Kelly bag! Free Hermès Kelly bag! Woo hoo!

Oh no… wait. It is a free Hermès Kelly bag, but like most things that sound too good to be true, it comes with a catch, and in this case, the catch is that the bag is made of paper. And you have to fold it yourself. Yes, hot on the heels of the Fendi Baguette you could colour in, Hermès are also giving us the opportunity to put our creative talents to work on one of their famous handbags. By visiting the Hermès website, you can dowload and print out a set of instructions showing you how to "fold your own" Kelly. How you decorate it is, of course, up to you.

As Coquette points out, while a paper Kelly bag might not be all that useful to you (especially if you live in a rainy climate, like The Fashion Police), if you’re handy with the old needle and thread, you could always use the pattern to make one out of fabric, or even leather. Will you, though?

Or you could order a very good lookalike Birkin from this site. (With huge close up pictures of the bags). They don’t have the Hermes stamp on them, for obvious reasons, but they are the best knock offs around.
