Dress of the Day: Caroline Hedaya Strapless Polka Dot Party Dress

Shopbop say this dress would be “the perfect excuse to throw a garden party”. How true. Or to throw any kind of party, really, because with its summery, polka-dot skirt and sweetheart-neck bodice, we think this is just adorable. If we had too, we’d settle for wearing it around the house. Which we’d probably have to, because let’s face it, once we’d coughed up the $550 to buy it, we’d not be going anywhere else that month…

I like the idea of this dress, but on me, probably not so much. I haven’t found a way to get along with strapless, and a skirt that is mid-thigh in a photo is even shorter on me.

I agree, Celeste, the dress would either end under my boobs, or not cover my behind. I’d like it as a skirt…

I have to agree with the above commentors that while nice, it wouldn’t suit most. As a tall woman I particularly find, that short skirts are just way, way too short. Even short dresses are flirty homewear only for me.

I love it!! Unlike the people abvoe me, I think I could actually wear this, at least in theory. But I don’t know if I would because strapless dresses make my arms feel naked.

I’m a tall girl of 5 foot and 8 1/2 inches and i had no trouble with the dress being too short especially since it actually comes with matching bloomers so if there was any quick flashing going on no one would probably even notice
