Would you wear… Faux fur wolf ears from Topshop?

Feeling wolf-like, readers? Or perhaps you’re just feeling all “quirky” and “zany” and “OMG, kerrazzeee!” and want everyone to know it? Well, you’re in luck, because for just £28, you can buy these faux fur wolf ears from Topshop, and achieve both of those objectives at the same time.

Would you, though?

There’s no doubt that the trend for cutesy, “look, I’m pretending to be an animal!” style accessories has been growing over the past couple of years. Is that a good thing or a bad thing, though? What do you think? And does anyone else think £28 is just a little bit too much for something that looks a lot like part of a Halloween costume?

Tell me, someone- what is UP WITH the indie obsession with animals from north american forests? If I see one more crappy I’m-quirky-check-me-out retailer with a window display incorporating antlers, or one more owl necklace, or owl tote, or owl shirt, I am going to lose it entirely.

Yes, we need the obsession to move to the mountains and kopjes of Africa!

Not all furries are pervs. A little bonkers, but not pervs. That’s like saying all punks eat babies.
It’s true though-no. I despise this animal ears trend.

as you said… and then… some people will wear these ears… but honestly… if not for Halloween, Carnival, hen-party… weird!

If worn on any day BUT Halloween, this is a bad, bad trend. It’s bad enough I’ve seen people wearing belts with TAILS attached, but this is just ridiculous. I can’t decide if it’s worse than the dreads most of the tail-wearers are sporting or not though — gross!

If they were cat ears they would probably sell like hot cakes.

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with it except for the prize. I actually think they look cute

I’d love these for use in my classroom. But not at £28!

Honestly, the worst part is they look back-to-front – I’m fairly sure the ears are pointing in the wrong direction. So even *if* you were inclined to such sillyness, they’d be a bad buy anyway.
