Worst wedding dress ever?

Alexis Mabille wedding dress

To answer the question in the title: yes. We think this may very well be one of the ugliest wedding dresses ever – although, we must admit, we’d LOVE to be there at the “you may now kiss the bride moment”, to see what happens when the groom tries to raise his bride’s veil…

Another case of “What happens on the runway stays on the runway,” we think.

Looks a bit like something a KKK member would get married in.

this is so godawful! I suppose the bride wouldn’t have to worry about ‘losing the ten lbs’ or ‘showing the baby’ or ‘undoing all those pearl buttons in the back’, or ‘what shoes to wear’, or having a wrinkled looking dress (this one appears to come wrinkled) plus the hairstyle is already decided since that stupid little bow is holding up the whole dress. Ye gods.

Yes. Until something worse comes along (which, let’s face it, it will) THIS monstrosity is the worst Wedding “dress” I have ever come across. Obviously a condom somehow mated with a mosquito net and there you go. The bow must be a sign that the offspring is female.

It looks like one of those things you put over a plate of food to keep the flies off (with an umbrella-like mechanism inside) but in its folded-up state. In other words it’s saying, “Look we’ve kept the bride unsullied for you!” Which I suppose could be a joke on the whole wedding dress thing…

To be fair, it looks like there is some sort of dress type thing underneath the horrible tent draping (if you look right where the illusion fabric ends, I think you can see it). It’s still not good, but at least she doesn’t appear to be nude under that.

Maybe the veil unzips in front to let the groom kiss her.

Just looks like a sheet with veil material at the face. I don’t consider this a wedding dress.

the groom would have to carry a pair of scissors in his pocket and cut the veil to kiss his bride

This dress has nothing to do with the entire collection… at all.

For some reason when I saw this I thought more of something that would worn to an occultist ritual/ceremony than wedding….

Maybe that *is* the veil? You lift it up, and reveal a nice, normal wedding dress underneath it..

Hey, it’s mosquito netting for those outdoors-in-the-summertime-at-sunset weddings. All the romance with none of the inconvenience. It’s perfect!

    Now…why is the backdrop in-doors?

Also, perfect accompanying groom’s tuxedo: orange safety camo.

I married into a very traditional middle eastern family (my husband isn’t that traditional but has a strong willed mother) and that dress would have been great. Some modifications but that idea, more or less. It would have covered enough to satisfy tradition and at least I would have been able to reveal a little bit of skin in the shoulders, albeit through a veil.

Let’s just say it is better than what I wore…
