Wear or Die: Printed palazzo pants edition

Palazzo pants wear or dieYes readers, it’s wear or die time again!  This week we want you to choose between two delightful pairs of patterned palazzo pants.  The rules are simple: you choose one pair to wear, or you die.  (Note: not really.)

So will it be the cherry print wide legs from New Look, or the ditsy floral print from River Island (River Island loves them, but do you)?  You decide (and be sure to let us know in the comments).

The River Island ditzies. Although they’d be so much nicer in plain black *sigh*

I would go with option #2, because if you tried hard enough and styled them just right you could kind of get a cool hippy-ish look. The other ones kind of just look like granny’s skirt.

Agreed. At least these have a very….hippy-workable pattern and a belt.

Don’t hate me, but when I saw the cherry print ones in New Look I kind of wanted to try them on, just to see how they looked on an actual person. But I chickened out.

I’d wear theem with a pussybow blouse tucked in, some kind of big, bright coloured belt and a felt hat. 70s ahoy!

The cherries! I’m old enough to have worn palazzos in the 60s, and Ithey were quite glamorous. I’d pick my occasion more carefully these days, however.

Me too, loved them in the 60’s and just bought a pair similar to the River Island ones in a peachy/tan colour with small brown flower print but cant find a top to match 🙁 I cant wear tops that tuck in and obviously it has to be a plain colour. Any suggestions appreciated! Wonderful for holidays in hot countries, sophisticated and cosmopolitan.

I would have to pick the cherry ones. Cherries make everything better.

It’s so difficult, I love them both… OK, the floral ones, they will go well with my other curtains.

The cherry ones. If I move really, really carefully, it might be able to pass for a really ugly skirt.

Cherries, if I had to. If I really, really had to.

The ones on the right, they the river ones? I want them! I like the ones from new look too, so if both was an option i’d go for both!
