Under Fashion Police Arrest: Comme des Garcons three-quarter length “bloomer” trousers

Comme-des-garcons-trousers

If fashion criminals ran bordellos, this is what the, er, ladies, would wear.

Or at lest, they would – if The Fashion Police hadn't seized these trousers and thrown them into the Fashion Police jail, where they're doomed to remain for a very long time.

We hope you'll all sleep better tonight knowing they're safely under lock and key. If you absolutely MUST set them free, though, bail is set at £330 and is payable to Yoox.com.

Wow! What a find! Who could look at that and think, “hm, that’s something people want to wear! I shall sell that!”? I love they styled it with a grey tank top too, because they go.

WOW! Even the greatest designers in the world are watching Eric Glennie to see what designs he will come up with next. Cutout and cutaway fashion design is an American fashion innovation, invented in Minnesota, 15 years ago. The styles are unique and the looks are limitless. And to think the fashion police laughed at me. http://www.ericglennie.com

Those are SO dumb, and SO far out there, that I kind of almost adore them. Not in an “I’d wear those” sorta way, but in an “How…interesting.” sorta way. Must be my affection for period costuming.
(BTW, serving their intended purpose, I could actually see the appeal of these – they’d keep your legs cooler than regular bloomers, but still serve the essential undergarment functions.)

Not bloomers. Pantalettes. Bloomers are more akin to harem pants, minus the dropped crotch.
