Ugly Prom Dress Sighting: the zebra-print prom dress x2

zebra-print-ugly-prom-dress

Nothing says “prom” quite like all-over animal print, does it?

Of course, with animal print – and particularly zebra print – being oh-so fashionable right now, perhaps this dress is simply “bang on trend“? Whaddya think?

[Thanks to Andrea for the report!]

We also have a confirmed sighting of a second zebra print prom dress, this time from Minnah:

Better? Worse? Readers, we just don’t know any more. You decide.

Well, if this were a “Wear or Die” edition, I’d choose the first one, but I honestly think both of them are too… too… I’m sorry, no words come to mind for describing these prom dresses.

in terms of animalness, the second one is better, because its not so all over. maybe they could make Zebra the offical uniform for balls, because then none of the girls would stand out (like, its hard for a predator to pick one zebra out of the heard)

That’s uh… interesting. I would rather chew gum from the bottom of a school desk than wear either of these to prom. The last one kinda looks like she has fan-shaped growths or something.

Weird, the dresses on their site are actually quite nice, so I have no idea where these monsters came from..

The 2nd in definitly the most fugariffic. At least the 1st one would be acceptable if it was in a non-Bratz colour scheme, while those frills/flounces would be mildly disturbing whatever the hue. Also, the 2nd dress shows underboob, not cleavage – sooo not appropriate for school events

I think they’d both be nice evening gowns if they were toned down a bit, like less ruffles and stuff. But I don’t think animal print is ever o.k. for prom!

I kinda like the first one. If the purple part was black or white, I’d wear that. Of course, I am quite young…

the second one would be perfect…for stripper prom…when she gets older change the zebra to leopard and you have a stripper retirement party gown…perfect in these recessionary times
number one’s kinda cute…would like it better if the zebra was also on the bodice though

wow. both are incredibly ugly, but if I had a gun to my head, I’d have to pick the second one. It has less of the zebra print (I can’t stand any animal print of any sort, ever, on anything) and it isn’t purple. So, fan things aside, definitely the second one.

The second dress wouldn’t have been welcome at my prom…the top is way too revealing (Lutheran school that went slowly more and more conservative as I got closer to graduating). And I still like the first one way more, considering it IS more covering and the cut seems way more flattering. The second has those ruffles that look like little animal print bells…

I had a friend who bought the first dress on sale for like 50$ and it looks AMAZING on her…the only difference is that she cut the bottom of it off and its more like a mini now, but its adorable…
