Tie your Lagerfeld scarf to your dead, says Net-a-Porter

huh.

Net-a-Porter, we love you… but we really hope this is a typo, otherwise it’s the worst bit of fashion advice EVER. Still, at least it answers that age-old style conundrum: how SHOULD one properly accessorize one’s dead?

The whole description is riddled with typos and nonsensical statements. Maybe Net-a-Porter have recently outsourced this function to an “off shore” country where English isn’t the first language, and no-one at HQ has spotted this issue yet? Thoroughly entertaining, though….

They appear to have rectified the error. Apparently, the scarf is meant to be wrapped around the handles of a tote, not of the dead…. 😀

Well, in German “(die) Tote” means a dead woman. Riddle solved. And we know where they outsourced to: To one of the German-speaking enclaves in Poland or Italy, or could it be Pennsylvania?

I can’t imagine what that could even be a typo for.

You know, things have gotten soooo weird the last while, that I did not even think “WHAT?” when I read the title of the entry. OMG, am I getting numb?
