We actually weren’t going to give Kelly Osbourne her own post, because we figured it’ll just mess with the heads of all of the people who think we ARE Kelly Osbourne, or Joan Rivers, or any of the other E! Network presenters, (We’re not, by the way, just in case you’re new to the site) and perhaps encourage people to send us even MORE illiterate rants about “our” plastic surgery etc.
Kelly’s Zac Posen dress, however, was one of the more interesting of the evening, so we thought you might like to see it. We’ve read a few criticisms of this dress, but we actually really like it: we’re still not on board with the grey hair, though…
Kelly Osbourne and Lourdes Leon attended an event to celebrate the one year anniversary of Madonna’s Material Girl line in New York this week.
Material Girl managed to be nothing more than a blip on the Fashion Police radar – possibly because we’re not 14 any more – so we have only one observation to make about this: wow, but Lourdes is turning into quite the looker, isn’t she? It’s like looking at photos of a young, dark-haired Madonna, and we can’t wait to see how her fashion sense develops!
By the time it gets this late on a Friday afternoon, the fashion blogger’s brain has started to turn to mush (yes, even more so than usual!), so we’re actually quite grateful to Kelly Osbourne for spelling out what she’s wearing in this photo: literally. It’s a little black dress, you see: and we know we’re right about that because it says so on the back!
Thanks, Kelly! What would be even more awesome would be if Luke Worrall’s suit had “Black Suit” written on the back. Or if harem pants had “Crime of Fashion” printed on them. Well, it would certainly make OUR job easier, anyway.
Little black dress aside, isn’t Kelly Osbourne looking amazing these days? You’ll find another photo under the jump if you’re wondering what this outfit looks like from the front…
Perhaps it’s the cute little hairband that’s swaying our opinion here. Or the fact that we’re partial to polka dots. And yellow. Whatever it is, we think this is a really fun look from Kelly Osbourne, although perhaps not very “February in New York”. Kelly was attending the Nanette Lepore Fall 2010 show, at NY Fashion Week. What do you think of her outfit?
We love it when we spot celebrities wearing accessible fashion, although you may not love it quite so much, given the item Kelly Osbourne is wearing here is this grey jumper dress by Rare, which comes with the requisite giant shoulders. It’s a look that Kelly is clearly loving at the moment – she wore a similarly styled top earlier this week – and it’s also very much “on trend” (yeah, we hate that phrase too), but do you fancy stealing Kelly’s style? If you do, the dress is £35 from Topshop, and we think the addition of the belt is probably a very good idea!
We hate to think how heavy this necklace must be, but at least Kelly Osbourne will never be stuck for a fork or knife while she’s wearing it. Or a spoon. Or some safety pins. Or a spare button. Or… a toy soldier.
It’s definitely what you’d call a “statement piece”, but do you love the statement this necklace is wearing? We love the rest of Kelly’s look here, but we’re just not sure about the contents of the cutlery drawer hanging around her neck. You’ll find a close-up under the jump to help you decide…
Looks like Kelly Osbourne is a fan of the trend for floral tea dresses – here she is at The South Bank Show last night, looking fabulous is florals, worn with bright red lips and a plunging neckline. This dress is by Luella, but as we pointed out last week, there are plenty of floral tea dresses just like this in the stores at the moment – and actually, Primark did a dress very like this one last summer, which you can still find kicking around on eBay. Fashion Police badge for Kelly Osbourne, please…
