We really want to like this. We feel like it has the potential to be absolutely stunning, but it’s missing the mark somewhere, possibly due to the nude colour, which is always hard to do well. What do you think, readers: hit or miss for Katy Perry?

Our sister site, Shoeperwoman, spotted Katy Perry wearing Dolce & Gabbana’s crystal studded pumps as she hosted the Waking Up in Vegas party at Haze Nightclub this week. Katy wore the shoes with a very shiny mini dress complete with handkerchief hem and cowl beck. Shoes aside, this reminds us of the kind of things girls used to wear to go clubbing in the 90s, but that could just be us, of course: what do you think?

Katy Perry and Russell Brand arrived back in London last night, with Katy wearing a big ‘ol diamond (or at least we assume it’s a diamond) on her ring finger. Twitter, meanwhile, is awash with rumours that Katy is expecting a little Russell sometime this year: we have no idea if this is true, but if so, we’re imagining a baby with huge, tousled hair, just like dad’s. Awww!
We wonder how Russell, who’s famous for his lewd comments on stage and womanising past, got on with Katy’s ultra-religious parents?

Fashion Police congratulations to Katy Perry and Russell Brand, who reportedly got engaged earlier this week, while on holiday in India. Katy celebrated the occasion by slipping into a salmon pink jumpsuit with a comfy elasticated waist, while Russell… Russell appeared to slip into a pair of Katy’s cropped pants. Please feel free to make your own jokes about that: Russell most certainly would!

Katy Perry has certainly managed to make her mark on Paris Fashion Week this year. She’s appeared at almost all of the shows, sometimes with new boyfriend Russel Brand in tow, and now here she is wearing a muppet print dress. It’s certainly very Katy’, but unfortunately her breasts don’t seem to agree – they look like they’re desperately trying to escape here, perhaps for Fear of being associated with this dress?
