This dress has grabbed our attention every time we’ve clicked onto the Net-a-Porter website this week, so we figured it deserved a turn in the Dress of the Day spot.
Although the nude panel in the centre of the bodice is probably designed to look like skin, and create the illusion that you’re wearing nothing but the two wide black strips on either side, it doesn’t actually look like that if you view it on the model, leaving you with a simple-but-striking dress, and a wonderful silhouette.
It’s £2,670, which is roughly what you’d expect from Alexander McQueen these days, but in its defence, it does look expensive. Is it worth that much? Up to you. If you think it is, you can buy it at Net-a-Porter
