Shy’m in “dubious legwear” fashion crime

Spl72577_0031

Most of the time when The Fashion Police make arrests, we have a good idea of what it is we’re dealing with. You know, it’ll be a shress, or it’ll be particularly bad harem pants, or, in the case of Jodie Marsh, it’ll be the crime of "being almost naked".

In the case of French singer Shy’m, however, we have no idea what this is supposed to be. Are those chaps? Leggings? Some kind of bondage-style stockings? WHAT? We know it’s a crime, but just what kind of crime is it?

Further evidence under the jump, if anyone would case to enlighten us…

The bandaged legs are horrid but I was focused on trying to figure out what was on top–I thought she was holding an old windbreaker up over her her tank top and shorts because she was cold or doing something odd. Then I realized that that was a DRESS. What an odd person.

I think they are some sort of misguided pantsy accessory. Everything she has on is just plain awful though.

At first I thought they were pants, but then I realized that she either has them on under a skirt or attatched to a skirt. I really hope they’re not attatched but somehow, that wouldn’t suprise me.

The whole outfit is just outright frightening. The legging-strappy-oddness just adds to the fug.

I think they’re bondage-leggings being worn under a skirt. Which is fine – but she needs to wear some footwear which matches them, like black boots for example. Oh, and a less stupid-looking dress would also improve the outfit.

I think the official name for them is ‘spats’.
It worries me that such atrocities have names.

What a disgusting top! Everything she’s wearing is awful, and look at her arm!! Anorexic much? She also appears bright orange, bad look.

Hmmmm… usually I am pretty open minded with fashion. With legwear I like it loud… but this is a little too much for me. Yes, they are spats.. but a little too busy.

    The whole outfit is horrible.
And those what-ever-they-ares sure look like they’d take a long time to put on!

Joey – Seriously, comments about people’s weight are out of line and not allowed here. This is a place to talk about clothes, not to acuse people of having serious mental illnesses, which is what you’re doing by calling this woman “anorexic”. Please try and keep your comments to the clothes and don’t throw personal insults around. Thanks.

yet another “anorexic” comment… I’m waiting for a sandwich one now… not to mention that her weight looks perfectly normal…
and the outfit… i’m utterly bewildered!

Ugh. Just… UGH! Whatever the hell they are, those things (and everyting else she’s wearing) are horrid O.O
They’re not spats, though. Spats are those awesome, oldfashioned shoe-things if I recall ’em correctly. Google them 😉
PS: Joey, my arms are thinner than that and I eat like a horse.
