Shoes of Prey: design your own shoes!

You know all those times when you have the perfect pair of shoes in mind, but those shoes don’t actually seem to exist in the real world? You’ll find the right colour, but the wrong size of heel, or the right shape, but totally the wrong uppers? Sound familiar? Well, Shoes of Prey promises and end to all of those countless hours of shoe-searching, by allowing you to play shoe designer and create your own design, in the colours, fabric and style you want.

Having had a bit of a play with the site this week, we can confirm that it’s really easy to use, and there’s a wide variety of styles, colours and embellishments to choose from, plus the fact that you get to choose your own heel height and shape. Of course, as these shoes are made-to-order, you can expect to pay a little more for them than you would on the high street: flats are £115,  1½ to 3½ inch heels cost £150, and 4 4½ inch heels are £180, but if it allows you to create the shoes of your dreams, it could just be worth it.

What do you think? Would you use a service like this? Visit their website here, and don’t forget to tell us what you think!

I love the Shoes of Prey website. fabulous escapism.. I think it’s stuff that dreams are made of! Having a look through some of the galleries of shoes they have produced show that with all the style options available mixed with fabric /colour choices, shows that there are an infinite number of styles available.. the tricky part is deciding on just one!
