Shoe Porn: ‘Cerise’ nude patent wedges by Aruna Seth

Aruna_seth_shoes

The Fashion Police can’t currently think of an upcoming event in our lives which would require us to wear a pair of nude patent shoes with Swarovski crystal bows on the back. But we will find one. And if we can’t find one, we will invent one. Or hell, we’ll just wear the shoes around the house – at least they’ll be more glamorous than last week’s adult onesies, no?

Actually, scratch that. We think it would be almost criminal to deny these shoes the audience they so clearly deserve, and we’d hate to have to arrest ourselves, so we’ll just have to keep on scheming to come up with an appropriate occasion. Next year’s Oscar’s, perhaps? If you have the perfect excuse to wear them right now, they’re by Aruna Seth, they’re also available in black and white and they’re £565 from here. Well, you knew they weren’t going to be cheap, didn’t you?

I’m sure there are a lot of women these would look really cute on…
But you wouldn’t catch me dead in them. There’s a point where something becomes TOO cute for me, and these shoes are it.

Usually I hate wedges (I don’t actually know why, its just one of my pet hates…) but these are fabulous! If I had that kind of cash hidden away somewhere, I’d totally buy them. I don’t, so I’ll just have to keep coming back here to gaze lovingly at them!

Is there somewhere you can buy shoes this color, this curvy for a lot cheaper? Bows and crystals be darned, these are adorable.

I’m… speechless. Those are /ghastly/. I envisage a past-her-prime drag queen wearing these. That, or Paris Hilton.
I apologize for any hurt feelings.

Oh yeah, they DO look a little Dame Edna! lol…they’re lovely, but like Arielle said…they’d look ridiculous on my feet. However, for a red carpet event, with the right dress, these could be a magical element.
