Style Trial: Serena Williams flashes her assets at the 2011 ESPY Awards in LA

SOME might say this is too much cleavage for any woman. Never heard of the “legs OR boobs” rule, Serena Williams? We guess not.

OTHERS, however, might argue that if ya got it, ya may as well flaunt it.

Serena Williams has definitely got it. What we need you to decide is whether she really needs to flaunt it or not.

Your decision, Fashion Police jury?

While I’m impressed that she managed cleavage like that without any visible support garments, I think this is way too much. Personally I wouldn’t really like it even with a long skirt, but I think the legs or boobs rule would have helped.

wow, she’s got some strong pectoral muscles to hold up such a dress. Personally, I think she should have gone with just the legs to show off those lovely louboutins!

Way too tacky. And I violently dislike her nails.

She looks like a street walker. And her boobs look like..rocks.

This look definitely does her no favours. However, I am intrigued by this dress. It seems to be locked in some sort of Jekyll and Hyde-like battle with itself. The ‘neckline’ (I use the term loosely) is all, “C’mon girls! Smile: you’re on camera!”, while the sleeves are fully looking out for the modesty of her arms, like “Nothing to see here people, move along now”!

If the dress was sleeveless, with a horizontal heckline at the top of her bust (just showing a hint of cleavage) and a just-below knee length hem, she could have looked classy.

So if she wore another dress basically? 😛

I have to agree. The colour is brilliant on her but the dress is all kinds of wrong. Especially coupled with that massive necklace.

I kind of like the idea of picking a focal point – there’s just far too many of them here.

The look would sell great if she was walking the streets. Shame, all that money and still no taste!

This woman doesn´t need shoulder pads at all. The necklace makes her neck look shorter. The hairlyle makes her face look wider. Wrong lipstick colour…. ufff

She looks like a female impersonator. Which is cool with me, I wish we could leave all the high fashion couture to the transvestites and let women wear comfortable clothing all the time. 🙂

I find it sad that a strong and influential athlete conforms to crippling beauty norms like this. She looks like she’s degrading herself into nothing but a sexualized product.

Maybe, because she’s so athletic she feels comfortable uncovered – virtually invulnerable. I’d say, too, that she can wear whatever she wants, but this is not enough fabric for such a tall, strong woman. A bit longer, and not quite so tight, would be fine. To me she always looks like Goliath trying to squeeze into David’s clothes…

She has the sense of humor, fortunately, to wear something that…neon pink. She can carry it off. I love Serena, and she can wear whatever she wants. Besides, she has biceps and she’s bigger than me. So who am I to argue?

Sure the cleavage is way too much but I find myself kinda in awe of it. They seem to be gravity defying makes me wonder what kind of support system is under that thing.

Also not a fan of the skirt at all basically this dress is too much of a bad thing.

If I had a ripped bod like that I’d be tempted to wear a bikini everywhere…OK, so maybe not but in spite of the colour, size, shape & style of this dress she still looks amazing!
