Wear or Die: Prom dresses

Prom_dresses

After rounding up all of those ugly prom dresses yesterday, it occurred to us that while it’s all very well to show you ugly prom dresses, it would be even more fun to actually make you wear them. For this week’s Wear or Die, then, you shall go to the ball, Cinderella and your Fairy Godmother (The Fashion Police, naturally) has waved her magic wand and procured not one, but TWO dresses for you to wear!

Which one’s it going to be then, Cinders? Will you go pink and floral or, er, pink, yellow, peach and floral? The choice is yours!

(Thanks to Fashion Police Officer Vera for sending in these dresses!)

Well, pink is a better color for me than yellow/peach so I guess it’s the one on the left. If I have to choose…

I’d go for no 1, just because when I was 7, if I’d been asked to describe the perfect dress, it would probably have been something like that ๐Ÿ˜€

I have to go with the dress on the right. I’ll be a multicolour pouf than one big pink pouf. At least the colour combination is more interesting:)

The peachy one – either way would be bad, but strapless and me don’t really go – I’d have an all might wardrobe malfunction… So, yes, with reluctance I’ll go in the peach – can I wear a big coat on top?

I’d wear the pink one because at least it’s only one colour. The other dress looks like it had something spilled all over it!

if they told the left one’s skirt to calm down a bit, I’d totally go for that one (as it is, I’m not much for the poufy deal)

Hmm… I kinda like the bodice on the left one (minus the roses), but the skirt isn’t really an A-line so much as an upside-down wineglass. I guess I’d deal with it.

FP I’m sorry, but this year I cannot attend the prom. I won’t be dying today, but I cannot go, Both of those colors look absolutely NASTY on me if I haven’t been in the sun in a while (that’s now)but I guess if I’m gonna play by the rules, I’m going with the rainbow sherbert dress… can I at least rip those tufts of tulle off the sides? I mean uh they got caught in the limo door.

I’ll pick the pink one because the other one reminds me of ice cream.

Hahaha this is ridiculous I kinda wanna wear BOTH! I’d love dressing up like a Barbie princess again, but you really only get the chance to during prom… And I went for something more mature. If the bodice is properly fitted, I’ll choose the pink one ๐Ÿ™‚

I kind of like the style of the one on the right, except for the strange flowery things. If it wouldn’t make me look like a bowl of sherbet, I would have actually liked it. Maybe. I’d still have to choose it over the other one, though, because I really wouldn’t be able to go to prom looking like an obscenely flowery, pink-clad Barbie doll.

I LOVE both of them. I would were the colorful one because I think that I would look better in it. Also I like rainbows! If I was going to the prom, I would choose the colorful dress!!!

Actually, I *like* both of these. It’s fun to dress like a fairy princess once in a while! I’d wear the one on the right.

This one’s a bit of a toughie for me.
They’re both so pretty to look at! I mean, I personally wouldn’t wear any of those to the prom, considering that I think they’re both just, urgh, too horrible for words.
But looking at them, just at the colour and all that gathering, it almost makes me melt.
I think I’d have to choose the right one though, I’m not one for strapless dresses.

Personally, I think both of these dresses are really pretty. They give it the pretty-princess look. Besides, they’re really original. Originality is a good dress quality.

My good Lord… this one was a bit tough. They’re both pretty horrendous, but I’d rather look like an off-brand dollar store princess doll than a mango smoothie. The pink one on the left is less reminiscent of a tropical drink-inspired chiffon nightmare, and honestly, in a dress like either of these I think a lack of straps would be the LEAST of your problems.
