Sock Horror! Pedisavers Pedicure Socks

Pedicuresocks

These possibly aren’t true Sock Horrors, because, unlike some of the items we’ve featured in this column, they do at least have a "practical" purpose, that purpose being to keep your feet warm during and after a pedicure, and to act as toe separators. I tend to favour DIY pedicures personally, because I have a "thing" about people touching my feet, but for those of you who do regularly have your tootsies tended to, let me just ask you: is the cold really such a big deal that you’d need to wear these ugly-ass socks? And doesn’t your beautician normally deal with the "separation of toes" thing anyway?

I want a pair of these. I just got my pedi yesterday, and had to walk home with flip-flops in the freezing cold. New York winter can be really painful on bare skin and yesterday was particularly harsh. I feel it’s acceptable to wear these only on such days, even though they are pretty ugly. Wearing them under any other circumstance would be a true crime!
