Crime of Fashion: Office’s ‘Loopy’ pink elastic sandals

Office_sandals No, we haven’t gone plundering a store selling "sensible" sandals for old age pensioners: we found these in Office. Yes, Office. And OK, they were on sale (£10 per pair folks, roll up, roll up!), but even so, we think they’d have to offer to pay us to wear these, and even then the answer would be, "Are you freaking kidding us?"

Obviously someone will come along soon to tell us that these are "comfy" as all hell, but seriously, people, if you’re not a pensioner, and you’re not registered blind, we can’t think of a single reason why you’d want to wear these, can you?

£10 – I would walk the dog. No, wait. I wouldn’t even walk Heidi in these! You think the manufacturer could have taken that little extra time to straighten out that strap.

Oh dear!!! I used to own a pair of those in the early 90’s. However, they were £2 and for walking on the beach.
Still, I feel I have to apologise to the world for my horrible fashion mistake. Just say no, people!

WOW! I had a pair of Esprit shoes just like that in the mid-80s. Scary!

Actually, I’m pretty sure I had a pair of these, too, when I was a kid. But I tend to think that if you find yourself wearing the same clothes you wore when you were eight, there’s probably something wrong…

Also had them, by Esprit, and they were my shoes I wore when we went tubing down the river. I didn’t want water shoes because rocks get caught in them. They did the job.
Would I wear them today? That’s a definite no. My grandma might though!
