Nipple tassle t-shirt. For children. Seriously.

Nipple-tassle-t-shirt

We’ve shown you some pretty tasteless items of clothing in the years we’ve been fighting crimes of fashion. We think this”nipple tassle” t-shirt from Twisted Twee, though, has to be one of the most tasteless of all. Because this is designed for KIDS. Ages 0 – 4 years, to be exact. Can you imagine dressing your little newborn baby or cute toddler in nipple tassles? No, us either. The fact that there are apparently people out there who’d do that… well, that seems like more than just a crime of fashion, no?

I cannot even begin to tell you how angry this makes me. Possibly even worse than the clothing company here in New Zealand who got themselves a whole heap of negative publicity for releasing a kids’ t-shirt with “future porn star” emblazoned on the front. Companies that release products like this are guaranteeing that I’ll never buy ANY of their products.

I consider myself a fairly open-minded person in terms of what’s funny and what isn’t, but this is…crossing even MY line. Offensive and really, really creepy and not in a cool way, in a creepy John Wayne Gacy kinda way.

That is so bad. I am stunned. Like gokarm says it is “offensive and really, really creepy….”!
WTF goes through someone’s mind to design something like that?!?

It gives a nasty insight into the mind of the designer who combined the two concepts “toddlers” and “titty tassles” together in the form of an item of clothing.
Sexualising a 0-4 year old by introducing stripper-wear on their clothing is beyond bas taste.
    It’s sick.

I’ve never actually been offended by something on this site.
I guess there’s a first time for everything.

Looking at the site, seems like it’s aimed at parents who want to show other parents how ironic and amusing they can be. (See the child-unfriendly alphabet section for further examples.)
Not having to mix with people like that is another reason to be glad to be child-free! 😉

It also appears to be a choking hazard.
    Disgusting.

Is that site designed specifically for people who didn’t bother to grow up before having children?
    ^-.-^

Surely that’s a crime. Not just a fashion crime. Who would do this?

Yah, pretty tasteless. The rest of the site doesn’t seem to be particularly atrocious, but it does cater to the forced hipster-past-their-prime “look at me, being ironic” sentiment. Pass.
@ chocoholic: I’m pretty confident it’s just a flat image, not actual tassles.

Wow…looking at their site, it’s clear that they have a weird sense of humor. And none of it is funny..

They are real tassles, if you look closely you can see the shadow.

This is sick. I feel bad for the kids that are forced to wear this. What sick minds invented this let alone bought this. Disgusting.
