I hate it when the models are not allowed to smile, but must look either pissed off or bored to death instead! Especially when the clothes they wear look as dull and frumpy as these. The worst part are the socks.
By the way: Autumn and winter are miserable and grey enough on their own. We don’t need grey clothes to remind us of that. Please, designers, give us some colour!!!

My first impression: ug, zombies in the morning. I know zombies are hot right now, but really, ug.

Dress shoes with anklets are not attractive. Grey is not a color… it’s a state of mind and it’s depressing. Sparklies are not to my taste except for New Year’s Eve, and even then, moderation rules. The one thing I really liked about the collection was the Katherine Hepburn trouser shape.

I never really liked all these runway show new york fashion week thingy’s.

Don’t get me wrong, i love fashion and shopping for clothes but when I look at new york fashion week and stuff like it I think “Ugh. Who would actually wear this out?”

    And it’s true.

Would you guys wear those things they call clothes out?

There was a gorgeous silver dress that I thought would be perfect for an awards show, but it’s not among the pictures above. I thought it was the best dress in the whole show. It was probably third to last during the actual show.

Oh dear, most of those outfits make the models look like extras playing refugees in a WWII film. And I believe those socks have to take a large part of the blame…

I see a very distinct and interesting American Depression-era style, which is of course an interesting choice at a time like this. I think it’s really well done and a good take on modernizing some classics, but far too drab. I couldn’t imagine wearing these outfits put together this way – they would have to be paired with a bold top or bottom, or have an intense color in the accessories.

I’m a fan of greys and neutrals, but they can’t be all neutral all the time without looking boring. Especially on washed-out depressed-and-starved-looking women.

I just saw Shutter Island, and without throwing in a spoiler all I can say is that when I saw what the dead people were wearing I was reminded of this collection.
