Mouse Chic, a.k.a. Peter Jensen’s Ear Hat at Topshop

Mouse_ears Umm, Peter? Mr Jensen? Mickey Mouse called – he wants his ears back, if you don’t mind…

Peter Jensen has created two of these “Ear Hats” for Topshop, one black, the other brown. They’re £30 each and will make you look like you’re on a happy family holiday to Disney all the time.  Do you want to, though? Well, if you do, you can buy your hat here

We, meanwhile, just can’t wait to see what Topshop will come up with next on the head-wear front!

Cute on a three year old… I guess.
    Otherwise, please, no.

Even more worrying is the fact that the hat is OUT OF STOCK. People are buying this thing?!

Oh no. I’d forgotten all about the string of cutesy, eared ADULT hats (or toques, for us Canadians) that winter brings. Tragic.

Yeah, cute on kids, not so much on adults… (well, actually, not at all)

I was shocked to see people buying this in TopShop last time I went! I thought I was the only one that thought it was awful and the worst idea ever.

It’s all part of that cutesy “Dress Like a Toddler” thing again, isn’t it? And I know lots of people like doing this, but I still can’t for the life of me undertsand why adult women want to dress like pre-schoolers

I like it. But usually I would wear it with something more mature.
