More pointless footwear: Hobbs NW3 Georgia Lace Up Boot

Have you ever been torn between your Mary Janes and your knee boots? Have you ever wished your lace up boots actually had some sort of in-built ventilation system to let the air circulate around your uppers? No? Really?? Neither have we.

But apparently, the lovely people behind Hobbs’ new contemporary range, NW3, have suffered just such issues. And to end their suffering they bring you canvas lace up knee boots – now with added peep-hole!

But for those moments you get an inexplicably itchy foot, we think¬†these particular boots are only good for letting the rain in. Which, British summertime being what it is, The Fashion Police see happening far too often on this side of the pond…

But maybe you can see their potential? Perhaps you hail from sunnier climes? You tell us – are they pretty or pointless?

Georgia Lace Up boots: £199 from Hobbs NW3.

I like them! I don’t think clothing has to necessarily be functional. As long as they’re not totally uncomfortable, I like them.

To show off your socks! That’s what the hole is for. And let the rain get all over your socks…fail. I don’t like them and even without a hole they’re not my cup of tea.
