More M&S faux fur legwarmers

M&S faux fur legwarmersRemember how we said a couple of weeks back that there were an alarming amount of legwarmers at Marks and Spencer?  Well, this is another example of a particularly frightening pair.  Yeti legs anyone?

But seriously though, where are you going to wear these?  If you have a suggestion, please let us know.  And how would you style them?  We are sure they are very cosy, but is that a reason to walk around with your lower leg smothered in faux fur?

If you like these and want to buy them, they are £20 here.

They remind me of boot covers people wear when raving and clubbing ect…

They are all the rage here in Japan! They wear them out shopping, with tiny skirts, or over jeans to make boots.

If it’s cold enough for these, it’s probably too cold for tiny skirts. I mean, really.
With jeans though, maybe. Good for this -30c we just got.

Maybe they are all the rage in Japan but I don’t think the average M&S customer will appreciate how to wear these. Be prepared to see a few shocking looks on your local high street with these…

Mmm, I was in NYC for christmas, and I saw a lot of girls wearing tennis shoes and leg warmers; I mean, if you have to walk a lot in a cold and windy city, you could wear these accesories; I did and they happen to be extremely cute and look great on photographs too !

Over skinny blue jeans or with leggins and a short skirt

I saw girl wearing a pair of these at WalMart the other day. She looked stupid. Seriously, they make you look like a big hairy viking. Why would you want to look like a viking?? They make your legs look enormous and if you’re even slightly overweight you look like a clown. Not very cute O.o

If you wear them just right, they look super-fun and amazing. Unfortunately, wearing them right seems to mean you’re a lovely slender Asian girl… I’ve never seen a Caucasian pull them off yet.

Id rather just not shave my legs for a few weeks. Its cheaper and then the fur on my legs will match the hair on my head.

Oh my god, embarrassingly I’m going to have to say…I absolutely love them! Would never buy them in white as they’d just get really dirty, but am going to have to skulk off and check if they do them in black or grey… (please don’t arrest me, Fashion Police)

I agree with a few of the oters; these would be really cute over jeans, and very useful for chilly weather. On their own, though, eh…not so much.

They’re very similar to what ravers/clubbers where to rave-type events, although they’d usually be flared at the bottom to cover the shoes more. I do get the impression that they’re intended to be worn over skinny jeans or over tights and with a cute skirt.

These are fairly ugly. However, I would totally wear flared furry legwarmers like the ones in the Japanese pictures up there.
