Mark Fast’s knitted mini skirt helps us answer the question ‘How short is too short?’

Way back in 2008, we asked the question “How short is too short?” in relation to skirts. We got a variety of different answers to that, but personally we’d draw the line right at the point where the skirt in question could easily be mistaken for some kind of frilly halter-neck bra top.

Or at the point where it’s suspended from your waist by a braided belt:

What about you, readers? Would you wear this? If so, it’s £1,080 at Browns.

Way too short. Just…imagine the buttcheeks meeting every chair surface all day long where ever you are because the skirt fails to cover them. No thanks!

£1080, I’ll have three then. Seriously, this gives fashion design a bad name. Not because it is obscene or unflattering to all women, including Victoria’s Secrets Models, but because it is poorly constructed, unoriginal och uninteresting. It’s the sartorial equivalent of those people who go on American Idol and sing like goats being castrated while claiming that the judges just have it in for them.

i hate the braid-waist collar,i hate the shortness. but i love the ruffle. It would be good if they make it in NORMAL version. Micromini good enough : )

I’m afraid none of you guys noticed the worse thing about this “skirt”: that thing around the waist is supposed to immitate a thong. So we have a case of skirt pretending to be a thong, or the other way around, more likely. Because, let’s face it: this IS a thong pretending to be a skirt…

I might wear it as a top but never as a skirt!
The “belt” makes it look like it’s falling down, exposing your thong. Classy!
(besides the fact that it’s too short…..I don’t think overly short skirts/dresses are ever fashionable or even sexy; it just looks like your clothes don’t fit you!)

It only looks good on you if you’re a graceful latin dancer and you wear it on the dancefloor! This model i mean, the fabric is awful

I’m a ballroom dancer and a weird thong/skirt thing would NOT look good on the floor. Something that skanky would look skanky in any situation.
