Would you wear… LNA’s latex pencil skirt?

Latex_pencil_skirtNow, we know you probably looked at the two pictures above and immediately asked yourself just what the hell The Fashion Police were thinking off, visiting “adult” websites and then acting all surprised to find things like latex skirts for sale on them, but don’t worry, we haven’t been. No, we actually found this skirt for sale at Shopbop of all places, and that really was a bit of a surprise to be honest, because its presence there says one thing to us: that they’re expecting us to wear it as a fashion item, rather than as a purely sexy one.

So, would you? Would you be prepared to take the latex out of the bedroom and into the public domain, or does the thought of your butt outlined in latex make this a fashion “don’t” for you?

Definitely a fashion don’t for me! That would be a very unforgiving look on anyone without a fantastic body.

Actually, rubber is quite a flattering fabric to wear. It holds you in in the right places, and shows off curves really well.
I’ve worn rubber dresses out before, and that’s to proper places as well as anything more ‘specialist’
Although, I would put some size restraints on it (like Lycra!)-Just because they make it in your size, doesn’t mean you should wear it!

Eek! Only if it were appropriate, and definitely not to work!

Why not? It looks better than lycra and it doesn’t show anything more. Also, this is just a skirt, not a waitress costume.. or a catsuit with inflatable breasts!
So, come on: people cant’be hostile towards materials! This shirs looks nice imho.
Expect more latex in the future!

Hmm, it doesn’t look that sexy on the model, let alone me – I’m not exactly model proportions 🙁 Also imagine it in a heatwave (not that I’m experiencing one of those – in my two jumpers and slipper-socks…!)

This Skirt is a YES. You need to to pair this with something casual and loose on top. Stop thinking of it as a sexaul piece of clothing or something that belongs in an adult store. This is fashion people… it’s all in the outfit and how you put yourself together!

My father, before I was born, made custom wetsuits; I now make costumes for theatre but use to work in props and dealt with a lot of latex and pvc. What seems to be baffling me is the amount of glue needed to turn that hem, attach the waistband, and how exactly did they sew the side seams together, let alone install the zipper? I bring up the wetsuit because there’s a lot of adhesive tape that goes into that. As for getting in and out of it, how much dish soap would you need…? And if so, doesn’t that defeat the purpose?

No. No sane person wants to sweat that much.

I don’t quite understand how one goes about walking in that…?
yeah….uhm, NO. That would be like putting on an extra layer of skin, except all synthetic-y and itchy, and it would be like a flap of it was across your crotch so your couldn’t walk. Ugh. I would totally die.

It’s not even latex but some nylon look-a-like-from-far stuff. And you could get a real latex one from an adult store cheaper. But me likes anyway.

Absolutely, if you can wear it in leggings why not a sexy skirt. Heeey! I’m going to purchase this one of these days. Love it!!

    buy-all-means

Latex is not only “looks”, but “feels”. It takes an open mind. Buy the skirt! at the best price (Look on “Latex Fashion Designers”). When u have it, wear it without u-wear. Put either talcum or lots of water based jell before. Then wear a larger and lose skirt on top. Learn to wear and walk with latex, to feel it first; 1, 2, 3 hours, or more. The feelings change with time. Progress! When u will be used to it, find a nice blouse (low cut), and go public. U’ll see, few people pay attention to u, and u will feel naughty and great. A challenge!
