Juicy Couture animal print sweatpants: a new low

We think Juicy Couture have reached a new low with their velour sweatpants. We’re just really hoping there isn’t a matching hoodie to go with these, because we’re running low on eyeball bleach this week, and we don’t think our corneas could handle it.

In Juicy’s defence, we’d pretty much come to terms with their non-patterned velour offerings (as loungewear, we hasten to add), as long as people try to refrain from wearing them with Ugg boots. In order to wear these, though, we feel like we’d need to dye our hair blonde, let the roots grow out for a few weeks, and then have a really orange fake tan. If you can think of another way to wear them, though, click here to buy yourselves a pair…

Or maybe you could backcomb and ghetto spray the hair to resemble stig of the dump, and voila! A convincing caveman outfit….

I am not going to lie, I would wear these around the house. I am not blonde or big-haired, I just have this unreasonable attraction to leopard print in all forms. I would prefer they were cut more like regular lounge pants, though.

I am not going to lie either. I once, like fifteen years ago, had bought a pair of tiger-like trousers (not leggings like this one) that are still hidden in my wardrobe and I still own a faux-fur zebra bag from back them, but that’s nothing compared to Lady Gaga being an fashion-icon.
Still, the days of living dangerously are passed, so, yes, that’s a new low.

Leave the animal print on the animals, people!

I’m glad you included the “(as loungewear)” clause regarding the plain velour – I’d be concerned about you otherwise…

I actually think they are kind of cute, but why are they so short? That’s an awkward length. And I’m sure they are overpriced, like everything else in the Juicy line. (Hope that doesn’t sound bitter, I actually own a Juicy shirt myself, but the line IS overpriced IMO.)
