Jeremy Scott takes inspiration from The Flintstones: what do you think?

We’ve already shown you Jeremy Scott’s “bone” mules, so now here are some more pieces from the designer’s current collection, and as you can see, they’re even more blatantly Flintstones-inspired than the shoes were!

This collection contains ragged skirts, bone-print jackets: everything you’d need to make a convincing Wilma or Betty, in other words. There’s even a “Your cave or mine?” t-shirt, if you’re feeling frisky.

This isn’t so much a case of dressing like a toddler, then, as it is of dressing like a cartoon character, so obviously we’re wondering what you think of these pieces? Expensive Halloween costumes, or a cute way to show the world you’re having a yabba-dabba do day? Tell us! (If you’re till not sure, you’ll find some more images under the jump.)

Everything you see here is available at Colette.

the only one that i could actually see wearing is the pink tee-shirt… and that’s only because it’s not completely blatantly flintstones.

Oh, they’re all blatantly Flintstones – or “Flingstones” as they’re called at the shop site.

What I don’t understand is why anyone would wear this stuff to anything other than a costume party.

This is one trend I don’t like at all.
I liked the shoes, but these look like cheap children’s costumes, with a bad attempt at a ragged seam. (I’ve seen this all the time in kiddie costumes, especially in skirts)
I don’t know though, it might grow on me! Strange trends always seem to. In fact, the more I look at these, the more I like them. The “your cave or mine?” shirt sounds funny. XD

These are awful and look like childrens’ clothes. It doesn’t help that I always hated “The Flintstones” when I was little (Fred was always so mean to poor Wilma!).

    OMG!
I especially loathe the short pink tee, what is up with that fad..
So 80’s-90’s.. Lord knows you have to be toned with fab ab’s to wear those stomach revealing horrors!

Also the bag, looks like something out of a Novelty store, you know a bit overprized, tacky and looks cheap!

    Yikes instead of Yabadabadoo!

    Over n out!

hmmm, its strangely cute…I see myself wearing that pink cropped tee or the leather jacket. I kinda like the bag and the pink and purple dresses. the orange skirt is pretty cute and I would wear the pink jacket if only to be random. but as for the prices no way.

And the shirt “your cave or mine?” that is epic!
