Jennifer Lawrence goes for gold at The Hunger Games premieres. Both of ’em.

Jennifer Lawrence at the Hunger Games premiere

Castmate Elizabeth Banks may be busy working her way through all the colours of the neon rainbow, but Jennifer Lawrence has decided that HER colour is gold, and by God, she’s gonna wear it.

Jennifer went for long, gold dresses at the L.A. (on the right) and European premieres of the movie, possibly in a bid to remind us all that she’s the golden girl of this particular show. Which look do you prefer?

I dont really like neither of them, but the one in the right definetely suits her better, in the left one she seems massive…

Maybe dressing like the Oscar in a bid for a nomination?

Though I’m not much of a fan of cut-outs I prefer the look on the right – it does suit her better.

Gah! I think the one on the left is FAR more flattering (the halter neck with the black band at the waist).

I think the one on the right looks like it was made with gold foil and a pair of scissors. It kind of reminds me of the duct-tape prom challenge. I think it looks cheap overall (literally & figuratively) and even gives her a pooch-effect that I’m sure her figure doesn’t deserve.

I much prefer the one on the left….it fits her better, and I like the contrast of the black belt 🙂 I do like the fullness of the skirt on the right though, and the shad eof gold is better, but overall the left is best!

I actually like the one that looks like a craft experiment with gold foil. I don’t know why, but I do! *worries about my own fashion sense*

I think her choice to dress in gold is linked to the Hunger Games. The Mockingjay brooch her character wears, which is a golden bird with an arrow in its beak, is a major symbol in the books/film. I think she looks lovely in gold, I prefer the one without the black belt best.

I think she looks amazing in both dresses but I actually prefer the cutout one

I like both of them. The cutout gold one is one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen. I don’t blame her for wearing gold twice. Both dresses are beautiful.

I prefer the second by far, though the styling and makeup helps a little too.
