Jeffrey Campbell’s lace cut out skimmers: not the prettiest shoes in the world

Ugly_shoes

We’ve been staring at this picture for a good ten minutes (Actually, it wasn’t a particularly "good" ten minutes to honest: it was a pretty ugly one) now trying to work out how to best put into words how we feel about them, but it’s been a long day, our heads hurt, and we think we’re just going to go with "Euuurgh, yuck!"

If you think you can come up with something better, then please, be our guest. And if you think you might actually wear them, you’ll find them for $98 at Urban Outfitters.

Why the sneaker lace?! I ask you! I’ve seen uglier shoes…These are definitely bad. But at least the material isn’t horrible. And yet…I’m sitting here looking at them, and I have to wonder…what poor animal died to make THESE? WHY?!

I understand that Campbell might be trying to create a ‘Classy, Rodeo look fit for an Urban Lifestyle’, but honestly, this reminds me of recycled footwear and Ugg boots that got caught in the machinery.
    Quality control, please.
