Frankenshoes: Jean boots, by Gianmarco Lorenzi

denim knee boots

These boots are in clear contravention of The Fashion Police’s “denim is only for jeans, and occasionally jackets” rule.

And also of The Fashion Police’s “peep toes are only for shoes, never boots” rule.

Oh, and the lace? Combined with the denim? It’s giving us really bad flashbacks to this. And we never want to be reminded of that ever again.

We think these are a Crime of Fashion: if you disagree, however, you can click here to buy them from Far Fetch.

I am too old and stogy to understand ever buying ‘distressed’ denim. I go to the thrift store instead.

Only to be worn by a bride with a sense of humor as hillbilly wedding shoes at a VERY casual wedding where they would be greated with a good deal of humor. Elsewhere? Derision.
