Jaime Winstone in a fur cape and red dress at the London Evening Standard British Film Awards 2010

Jaime Winstone wears real furWe expect British actress Jaime Winstone will probably raise a few eyebrows in this outfit: not because of her bright red dress, but because that looks very much like a real fur cape to us – if it’s a fake, it’s a very good one. Luckily for Jaime, PETA weren’t in attendance at the London Evening Standard British Film Awards last night: The Fashion Police spies were, though, so tell us readers: what do you think of Jaime’s fur coat? Or the rest of her dress, for that matter?

The dress looks nice, not so sure about her hair though. I don’t like the look of fur in general – be it real or fake. So the coat gets a “nay.”

Firstly. Love the sparkly red clutch. The dress looks like it could be nice on it’s own but the entire look does kinda scream “Hey baby, looking for a little fun tonight?”
But really now? a fur cape? real or fake, a cape? Why? Are you a superhero?

Perhaps she just got off from work on some drama about the Profumo Affair.

As long as you like the look but don’t wear it, fine with me.

Anyway, I -hate- fur with a burning passion, being a vegetarian and all that. Not only is it brutal torture (imagine how you’d feel getting skinned while you’re alive and conscious), but also a waste of life – most animals are tossed away after being skinned. If they happen to be carnivorous, the animals are ground up and fed to their buddies – forced cannibalism much?

Anyhow, the dress would’ve been so nice on it’s own. Now it just screams ‘hooker’
