Happy New Year from The Fashion Police!

Fashion_policeWe’re currently busy hunting fashion criminals, and will return to our normal posting schedule on Monday. Until then, we hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve, and wish you a 2009 filled with fun, fashion, and everything your heart desires. (Unless, of course, your heart desires to walk around flashing your bare butt in public, in which case, welcome to the Fashion Police jail!)

    Oh, dear!
Someone better have taken a pair of scissors to her jeans while she wasn’t looking. Otherwise, there’s just noooo excuse!

please tell me that’s just a print on her jeans or something (although even then, that’s still a huge crime of fashion)..

This blog is the first thing I check in the morning. I pour myself a cup of coffee, pull up the website, and start my day.
I started my day by looking at somebody’s bare butt.
    *shudder*

Let me guess: if you justifiably assumed she was some kind of prostitute she would get indignant.
This picture should be posted next to the entry in any dictionary or encyclopedia as a classic example of “fashion victim”.

Oi. I’ve got to wonder about this individual. She’d best be looking for attention, because if she’s not, she’s going to have a VERY bad day.

Is this from Japan? I say that cos they love high socks (no idea what that monstrosity is though) and she seems to have the generic slightly red/brown dyed hair color so common there. Also, things that would be considered “extremely trashy” in other parts of the world are considered “cute” there.

linn has a point – if this victim were of the japanse variety, she could be let off the hook or at least have a reduced sentece for her crime.

I AM Japanese, and I can assure you that we don’t all walk around like this or think it’s “cute”. Or indeed have “generic” dyed hair for that matter.
