Dress of the Day: Green sleeve shift dress by Phillip Lim

Green sleeve shift dress by Phillip Lim

Phillip Lim rarely gets it wrong as far as I’m concerned, so even although I’m disappointed to still be seeing so many shapeless shift dresses around, despite promises of their demise, I won’t hear a word against this one, partly because of my continuing infatuation with puff sleeves and boat necks, and partly because of the gorgeous green colour.

Pink Mascara describe this dress as “fresh and merry” and perfect for the holiday season, but I think the shape and flower print make it more of a summer dress: it’d be good with heels, but equally good with flip flops on a hot summer’s day.

Not that we’re getting many of those at the moment, of course (unless you live in Australia, or somewhere else hot), so it only remains for me to tell you that this dress is $449 at Pink Mascara. And that it’s not black
