Fashion Police Gift Guide: for the Fashion Victim in your life

Fashion Victim Gift Guide

When it comes to holiday gift guides, other sites will already have provided you with plenty of options for appropriate gifts for him, her and the dog. But what do you get the Fashion Victim in your life? You know, that person who loves designer labels, uses the phrase “bang on trend” un-ironically and whose tastes change with every Vogue editorial they read? Let TFP help you out there…

Actually, buying gifts for Fashion Victims is pretty easy: it’s just expensive. The great thing about Fashion Victims, you see, is that they’ll like ANYTHING… as long as – say it with us, folks – IT’S DESIGNER. So how about:

Fashion Police Gift GuidePrada itself would be better, of course, but assuming you don’t like your friend THAT much, go for this My Other Bags Are Prada tote instead.

Or how about…

Now, this one is actually pretty cute. We’d totally buy it, in fact… if it wasn’t $120, and if it didn’t have that visible logo. Both of those points will recommend it to the Fashion Victim, though, so if you have the cash, it could be a winner. As could…

Fashion Police gift guideA Karl Lagerfeld snowglobe or doll!

Everyone loves Uncle Karl. Everyone wants his tiny image inside a snowglobe: or stuffed, and sitting atop their dressing table. Don’t they? (Available at Sephora.)

For less money still you could always go for…

or…

They’ll help people know which suitcase is worth stealing.

Finally:

Fashion can be bought, style one must possess. A good message for Fashion Victims to keep in mind…

I have been known to REMOVE the labels where possible (I don’t like being a marketing stooge) & that keychain is one you could do that with. If it cost less. If you found it at the thrift store & liked it. So many of these high-falutin’ designer label things end up at the thrift store the next season!
