Fashion Police Glossary: Eyeball Bleach

Eyeball Bleach is a fictional substance used by The Fashion Police and their readers to cleanse their eyes after viewing a particularly ugly item of clothing or footwear.

The term “Eyeball Bleach” was introduced into the Fashion Police lexicon in 2009, by reader Delaney, who suggested that the outfit shown in this post made her “reach for the eye bleach”.

Since then, the term has been regularly used to signify horror at the sight of a particular item, i.e. “Pass the eyeball bleach!” It’s important to remember, however, that what’s seen cannot be un-seen: eyeball bleach can only go some way towards repairing the damage created by some of our crimes of fashion!
