Fashion Police at the Met Costume Institute Gala 2010: Sarah Jessica Parker in Halston

MET Costume Institute Gala Benefit - 2010

Keeping with the unofficial “long and shimmery” theme of the night, Sarah Jessica Parker wore Halston to last night’s Costume Institute Ball at the Met, and looked to be having a fabulous time: that dress is just made for twirling in, isn’t it? With her hair in loose waves, complete with a Carrie Bradshaw-esque corsage, there’s a healthy glow to SJP here that works well with the colour of the dress, don’t you think?

Personally I think she looks stunning. She looks so happy and her hair looks lovely. However, concerning the dress, I think it could have sat better on her. The top half of it looks like it is hanging off her. Despite that though, she looks amazing.

A certain unnamed young celebrity *cough, cough* should take a hint from Ms. Parker. A happy attitude never disappoints!

She looks great. No surprise that she was in vintage Halston, of course – but great choice!

I love it. She looks like she has accomplished what Katy Perry was trying to do – have a little bit of fun – without tacky glow-in-the-dark. Amazing!
