Style on Trial: Faith’s ‘Cheveuxt’ fringed peep toes

faith-Cheveuxt-shoesYou know you haven’t visited the Faith website for a while when you load the page and discover that the shoes have grown a head of hair in your absence – and it’s gone grey.

Long, silver hair is what we’re irresistibly reminded of when we look at these ‘Cheveuxt’ peep toes, which retail for £85. Actually, they’re made of lots of very fine chains, which we’d imagine will be the centre of attention when you hit up the dance floor at this year’s party and make those bad boys swirl!

Does that tempt you to buy them, though? If so, you can pick up a pair here: but don’t forget to tell us what you think of them first!

I… am, for the first time, officially lost for words. I think I can appreciate them conceptually. Sorta. I think. They’ve got that whole Moulin Rouge hidden-behind-veiling-boudoir thing going on, after all. But then again: Moulin Rouge IS A WHOREHOUSE. And they do look it. My brain is on the verge of ‘sploding.

They are a bit tacky, yet glorious! I think they are meant to be seen in motion, sitting stationary just doesn’t suit them.

when i saw they were called “cheveuxt” i thought they should have been called “chevallet” because they remind me of those horses with fringed hooves…for me in either case i say neigh…i mean nay lol

It’s an interesting concept and I actually kind of like it from the side! idk either way I don’t think they’re totally horrible, even though they remind me of Dumbledore from Harry Potter.

    I adore them!

They look like the entrance of a hyped strip club or just a NY location.. And they have an architectual element about them..

I think they are beautiful, however they are on the verge of being tacky

These are awesome dancing shoes. Of course, I don’t pay more than $20 for someone I can’t run 10 miles in, so I wouldn’t actually buy them. But I was delighted when I saw them and imagined how they’d look in motion. They weren’t meant to be still.
