It would be quite adorable if it had normal sleeves.

I agree with the above comment. with those sleeves i’d feel like a tablecloth in a Mexican-style Restaurant

I like, provided that those sleeves are separate from the skirt.

I’m not sure how I feel about this dress. I like batwings but this time they seem to over power the dress. Which is a shame because the embroidery is really very lovely.

Ugh, really? The sleeves are horrible, it looks like an embroidered sack. Even though I know it’s not, it somehow looks cheap.

It looks more like a poncho than a dress.

I strongly suspect that this dress would look a lot more shapely actually on a person.

Oh, yeah. The picture here really doesn’t do it justice. Check the other images at NaP and then decide.
    I really like it.

I’m a little ambivalent on this one. I feel like on the right person it could be good, but I’m not feeling it by itself.

It just seems very boring, because there are some excellent ethnic dresses popping up lately and this one just seems like a poorly-made copy of them.

Zandra Rhodes did it almost 40 years ago, I’d say.

I love this dress! Everyone who says the sleeves are lame, look around. This is 2009. We should be open to any fashion opp. Anyways, I’d wear a boho headband and maybe maroon tights with moccasins to complete the look. What do you think?

I love this dress! The sleeves make the entire dres, in my opinion. It’s so chic and effortless.
