Dress of the Day: Tibi bow collar dress

Tibi_dress Coral. It’s a colour we struggle with, to be absolutely honest, and while we think this Tibi dress deserves its place as Dress of the Day on grounds of the design, which we love, we have to admit, we’d be loving it a whole lot more if if was a different colour. Any colour.

That said, coral was very popular this summer, and if you love it and want to take it through to winter, this could be the way to do it. We like the retro feel of this dress,a and the big bow on the collar manages to appeal to our bow-love, without being too twee.

We suspect this won’t be the most popular DOTD ever, but hey, variety is the spice of life, so if you like it, you can buy it for £275 at Net-a-Porter.

I agree, I am not feelin’ the color. I do think that the dress would be amazing in a different color though. The design is great.

In that colour it kinda looks like something you’d find in the Queens wardrobe…making it hard for me to picture it any other way really!
    Definately needs a different colour

This is one dress of the day that i’m just not a fan of. The cut looks boxy, and I don’t like that flap of collar. maybe it looks better on, but I think that collar flap is going to be hard for me to get past.

I LOVE coral. But on this dress it looks a little nana-ish. I do love the vintage feel, but I think maybe they have taken it a little too far?

Now I’ve read JC’s comment all I think when looking at the dress is whether Her Maj would choose coral or cream accessories…

I love it! I like the color, too, and i’m not sure if any other color would really fit this dress. Though, I admit, I was a little wary of coral at first, but it grew on me. 🙂
