Daylight Robbery: Antonio Marras lace skirt

antonio-marras-lace-skirtWhat do you mean “old lace curtain/tablecloth loosely tied a the waist”? That right there is a $913 skirt, we’ll have you know! And who cares if it could only ever really be useful as a beach cover-up, and even then people will wonder why you brought a curtain to the beach, and you’ll be terrified about getting it dirty? It’s DESIGNER, dontchya know?

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to source some, er, old lace curtains. For completely unrelated reasons.

Actually…I like it! Not the price though obviously that depends on the type and quality of lace. Would look fab in black….

When I was little, one of my favourite items in my dress-up trunk was an old lace curtain. It could be a skirt, a dress, a veil, a cape, and whatever it was, it was bee-yoo-ti-ful. Little did I know I was dragging $913 around!

Haha like Riali, this also reminds me when I was little. My friend and I loved playing dress up and he (yes, it was a he) always tied some sort of curtain around his waist and pretended to be a goddess XD
I wonder if I still have all those old curtains. I could start a clothing label and get rich.
