Cute or Kitsch: Nathan Jenden plastic bow sunglasses

Cute? Kitsch? Kitchly-cute? We think these plastic bow sunglasses by Nathan Jenden fall into all of those categories, and probably more besides: in fact, some of you will undoubtedly find them too sweet to be wholesome.

For those of you in the “cute” camp, though, and who don’t mind dropping £160 on a pair of plastic sunnies, these are available at Far Fetch: what do you think of them?

Those are too cute for words!! I love them! Would not pay 160 pounds on them, but they ARE adorable. My only concern is that the bow might get annoying over time, because it partially obstructs vision.

Eurgh! Kill them with fire! Neither kitsch nor cute, just ridiculous looking. And, as bows go, that one is pretty dreadful. I blame GaGa.

ehhh…they’re ok but on anyone older than 21 they’d look like she was trying just a bit too hard.

I think the white plastic makes them look cheap. Also, I think i need to see them on a person because I’m having trouble imagining what an eyebrow bow would look like.

They remind me of Hello Kitty. Not for me, though I do think there are people who could make them work.

Looks like something you’d see in a not-very-good anime.

NO, just silly, they look like you’ve got a big bandage over your eye.. .. well, on the average person anyway. Could see working as only weird things do, on Japanese street fashion Fruit.

In red I’d love them for occasional wear BUT at about £5 not £160.

The bow could be shaped nicer. For fun/as a novelty I like them, they’re painfully cute. BUT I’ll wait for the knock-off prices.

Kuh-yute x10! I’d wear them with a cute swimming costume by the pool.
