Cut Out Skirt Crimes: Murmur Neoprene Cut-Out Skirt

We only have one crime of fashion for you this week, but we think you’ll agree, it’s a doozy:

skirt with cut-out sections

Neoprene skirt, £412

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this kind of crime, and we’re sure it won’t be the last time. What we want to know is where you’d want to wear it, and what with. We normally see pencil skirts, as fairly formal, office-type attire, you see, but we can’t think of many offices where a skirt with suspenders wouldn’t get you dragged in for a little chat about the dress code, so perhaps the full body shot will give us some clues to this one:

harness top and suspender skirt

Well, that certainly answers the “what would you wear with it” question, at least. You’d wear a corseted harness top, and some hoof shoes. OBVIOUSLY. As for WHERE you’d wear it, we’re going to go with “fetish club or similar”.  But given that these two pieces are nestled amongst the rest of the designer fashion available at Louisa Via Roma, we have to assume they’re at least hoping it will have more mainstream appeal, which leaves us with the question: would YOU wear it? And if so, WHERE?

Meanwhile, we know we said we only had one crime to arrest this week, but this just in:

ugly sandals

Sandals, £225

If there are uglier sandals out there, we’re not sure we want to know what they are, but hey, send them over to us anyway: there’s always room for one more crime of fashion in the depths of the Fashion Police jail!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Would maybe wear it ‘over my dead body’. The sandals look like my attempt at knitting when I was little. The people who spend that sort of money on this obviously have more money than either sense or style.

This is a skirt created by a Romanian designer, and it was wore by Inna, the singer, on stage at some point. It kinda actually looked good, you can search for pictures, she matched it with a black top and a while longer waist coat.
