Christmas Checkpoint: What will you be wearing on Christmas Day?

Checkpoint Only one sleep to go before Christmas! Are you excited? We are. Before we head off to decorate the Fashion Police Christmas tree, though, we wanted to get all nosey and ask what you’ll be wearing on Christmas day.

This isn’t our usual Fashion Police Checkpoint because we don’t want to know what you’re wearing NOW, but what you’re planning to wear tomorrow, for Christmas. Do you get all dressed up and make an occasion of it, or is Christmas a time to slob out in your pyjamas, keeping comfortable and just enjoying all that good food and drink?

Tell us!

Dark green wide tea-length skirt, black patent belt (with small dots), a red cardigan, red 40s-50s style patent pumps and stockings with read seams.
    Yep, all retro.
_After_ I’ve finished cooking the christmas dinner.

Ooo! I like Lisa’s outfit, right above this. However, pajamas are the norm, so I’ll be wearing my blue pajama pants with my lucky Cal sweatshirt. A (mis)matched Santa hat is also required.

I’m going to stick with the PJs for the morning, but when the family shows up I’m going to have to change, so I will wear my faded old blue jeans with holes in the knees and writing all over (well loved, I can tell you) and a tee that is yet to be decided. Maybe a white one with a red blouse thrown over. Oh, and I’ll be barefoot. Because that’s how my family is (shoes optional).

I would like to wear a very pretty tea length wine red silk dress with empire waist and Juliette sleeves that I’ve had for more than a year and never worn becauses I’ve never been invited to an occasion formal enough for it — but alas, I’ve no real plans for the day and thought I’d go down to the dog shelter and volunteer to walk the dogs to give them a bit of Christmas cheer, and I don’t think the dress would be at all suitable.
So I think it’s going to be jeans and sneakers and maybe a lacy top for fun. At least it’s going to be warm here, so I won’t have to bundle up…

I hadn’t really thought about it… probably my dark grey shift dress, dark grey opaque tights and the heart-shaped silver locket my dad got me for my last birthday. And a rather fetching paper hat, naturally! 🙂

Normally we have a huge family dinner and it’s relatively fancy – this year it’s just my immediate family (my parents and my brother), which means we’re going to have a slob kind of Christmas.
I will be wearing dark bootcut jeans, and a Threadless tee my brother got me.

    Dark jeans
black satin top with waist sash from Dynamite (Canadian store)
    Chunky bracelet
and long underwear, gloves, toque, parka and mitts in the survival kit in the car
Shoes aren’t too much of a concern, in Canada you don’t wear shoes into someone’s house (haha, might have something to do with all the snow, dirt and road salt you’d drag in!)

Well for the first half of the day, it was pajamas all the way.
Now I’m wearing a graphic tee with guitars on it, a denim mini-skirt, a studded belt, black and white striped stockings and black boots.
    But I’m 16, so it’s okay 🙂
