Chloe’s Boudoir chain shoulder bag: kinda scary, really

Chloeboudoir_chain_bagWe know what you’re thinking: which one of the muppets did Chloe have to kill to create this handbag? Well, you can relax. The received wisdom is that no muppets were harmed in the making of the Boudoir Chain Bag – it just looks like they were.

As scary as the bag itself is, though, it’s not quite as frightening as the price, which is £1,815. Yes. We know.

This looks a little better from the front (although not much), so in the interests of fairness, there’s another picture under the jump. Remember and tell us what you think!

I like it. Perhaps it is the sesame street memory thats drawing me to it, but its cute, funny, and I love the colour.

If I had to spend £1,815 on one item, this would NOT be it! Would not even spend £18.15 on it, either. It is ugly. UGLY. In its favour – it has a cute colour.
And thanks for that laugh, Mousy!

Why, thank you. =D I really do think it would look better with googly eyes. Although I’d be even less inclined to pay the price of £1,815 if it did…

This looks exactly like creative desperation. Chloe has created perfect bags…where can you go but down?

    Hahaha, oh man. Thanks Mousy.
And why is it that designers think they can slap the word “Boudoir” on anything just to make it less hideous or trashy? I wouldn’t wear this in my boudoir.

It looks… alive. And like it has dreadlocks. And I don’t understand the crop circles on the front…

Hm, well it reminds me of the 70s glam rock scene. If I saw it in that context, I’d think it was fine. Otherwise, I can’t really imagine an outfit to go with it.

You think it’s ugly NOW, just imagine how it would look after being caught out in the rain, or set down beneath a restaurant table in an unseen puddle of… something. Eek!!

How careful would you have to be with this in a public bathroom? No plopping it on the bench while you wash your hands for fear of baby puddles of liquid soap, right? Scary scary.

It also reminds me of the big blue fuzzy monster from the pixar movie… what was his name? Skully or something? Its a scary bag, that is for certain. Maybe thats why it evokes thoughts of monsters when I look at it! haha

This handbag is a little pricey for something that looks like a poodle with a bad hair day after its fur was died blue and its body studded with jewels!!!!

I like the pattern, the color, and the strap, but I don’t like the fur. at all.
But it could be worse, when I saw the first picture I thought it was a pair of SHOES.
