Cheryl Cole designs shoes: what do you think of them?

Cheryl Cole shoe collection for Stylist Pick

Cheryl Cole took an important step on the route to Beckha-esque fashion dominance (she hopes) today, with the launch of her debut shoe collection for member’s only website, Stylist Pick. (Which, for those of you who’ve never heard of it, is based on the same kind of model as Kim Kardashian’s ShoeDazzle, with members signing up to a monthly subscription and then choosing a pair of shoes each month.)

You can see the shoes from this range below, and naturally, we’re keen to know what you think of them. There are strappy, Miu Miu-style sandals, flat biker boots and platform pumps – we even see what looks suspiciously like a pair of boots-pretending-to-be-shoes – but would you buy any of them? Take a look and see…

I’m pleasantly surprised, I’d wear all of these apart from the Freak le Chic style.

Freak le Chic is the one that actually caught my eye, even if it is a boot pretending to be shoe. I also like the sandals. But all of them are quite nice, if a tad bit expensive.

They caught my eye too during the fraction of a second it took to notice their criminal tendencies.

I like “Royal Hotness” and “Hot to trot”, although they are way too high for me…
The biker boots are also very nice.
The rest isn’t really my taste, so I’ll pass.

Diggin’ those “Byker” boots. They remind me of those Big Buddah casi’s with a natural brown finish. Like ’em, but they really aren’t original enough to warrant my attention…

I have no real feelings on the shoes, they’re a bit meh, definitely wouldn’t pay those kinds of prices for them.

However I am unbelievably amused by the names, especially Byker Groove. Hahahah.

I do like the Freak Le Chic shoe, but none of these are something someone else hasn’t done first.

Liek Emily, ‘meh’ was exactly my thought. I’m pretty sure you could pick up a similar selection in New Look for a fraction of the price. I do kind of like the Ri Ri boots that she’s wearing in the picture (I have a weakness for animal print worthy of a Queen Vic landlady) but I wouldn’t buy boots that high and from what I can see the fabric/finish doesn’t look worth the price.
